Intro
Jewish Voice for Peace is the largest progressive Jewish anti-Zionist organization in the world, organizing a grassroots, multiracial, cross-class, intergenerational movement of U.S. Jews into solidarity with the Palestinian freedom struggle, guided by a vision of justice, equality, and dignity for all people.
JVP - Tucson chapter is a group of local activists seeking justice for all peoples in Palestine and the US/Mexico/Tohono O'odham/Hia-Ced O'odham Border region. We join with others fighting all forms of prejudice, including racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, and homophobia.
Positions
Like generations of Jewish leftists before us, we fight for the liberation of all people. We believe that through organizing, we can and will dismantle the institutions and structures that sustain injustice and grow something new, joyful, beautiful, and life-sustaining in their place...
JVP objects to the "severe human rights violations of Palestinians by Israel and supports the end of Apartheid and occupation of Palestine. In 2019, JVP adopted an anti-Zionist position. The organization also supports the Palestinian-led boycott against Israel through the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement
